Crepe walk

100 % organic virgin wool

Crepe walk is created through a combination of a special type of knitting and the subsequent further processing by which the knitted fabric is specially washed and thus lightly kneaded.

As a result, the material becomes more robust, but still retains its noble appearance and natural properties.

The wool comes from controlled organic animal farming (kbT.), the yarn is certified according to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS).

Wool/Silk

70 % organic merino virgin wool / 30 % silk

The highlight of our wool/silk products is that the fabric is made as terry cloth with the yarn loops on the inside. The result is a fine, shimmering sheen of the silk on the outside and a spacer fabric on the inside. This creates an air cushion between the body and the fabric, which has a very temperature-balancing effect.

The wool is further refined by the 30-percent admixture of silk. The material is somewhat smoother and feels even more pleasant on the skin than pure wool. People with very sensitive skin benefit from this. The materials wool and silk complement each other ideally through their properties.

Washin instructions

Merino virgin wool and Merino virgin wool/Silk

We recommend washing woolen garments cold in the wool wash programme of the washing machine.

The precondition for this is that the machine has a special wool wash programme and a temperature setting below 30°C is possible. Please use a gentle ecological wool detergent. Make sure that either a spin stop or a spin speed not exceeding 400 revolutions is set.

For best results fill the washing machine half to three quarter. Pull damp into shape and dry lying down.

For hand washing, please follow the advice below:

Please use a gentle ecological wool detergent and a maximum temperature of 30°C (please use a bath thermometer). Avoid the clothes rubbing strongly against each other or exposing them to strong mechanical stress. Do not soak the clothes for more than 5 minutes. During the rinse cycles please pay attention to not create a high variation of temperature to the washing temperature. If possible, use the same temperature for all stages of the washing programme. If temperatures used are too high, this will inevitably leads to fibre mingling.
